FAQs

What time can I check in?
You’re welcome to arrive anytime from 1:00 pm. Final check in is 8:00 pm! Think you might be late? Please call ahead and try to arrange this with us, as we cannot guarantee you will be able to get in.

What time do I need to check out?
Check-out is by 11:00 am sharp. This gives us time to get everything ready for the next guests arriving from 1:00 pm.

What happens if I check out late?
If you're still on your pitch after 11:00 am, we may need to charge £10 per adult per hour. We really appreciate your cooperation; the turnaround time between guests is tight.

Can I leave my car on site after check-out?
We are unable to accommodate late check outs or parking on site during peak season. If your pitch is free for the night after you, then you are able to book the pitch to leave a little later. Please speak with reception.

Do I need to do anything before leaving?
Yes. We ask that you leave your pitch as you found it, take all rubbish with you, and move your vehicle. If anything’s left behind or the pitch isn’t tidy, we may need to charge a fee to the card on file.

Can I dispose of large items?
Unwanted tents, BBQs, tables, chairs, gazebos, air beds and anything else are not to be left here for landfill. They are your responsibility to recycle and dispose of responsibly and must. Anyone found to be dumping these items for us to dispose of will be recorded on camera, and security bonds will be charged.

Are fire pits allowed?
Yes, small, raised fire pits are welcome, but they must be off the ground and extinguished by 10:30 pm. In very dry conditions, we may temporarily ban them for safety. Fire wood and fire pit hire will be available on-site. Ash and charcoal are to be disposed of in the metal bins and not thrown in hedgerows or timber framed bin stores.

Are BBQs allowed?
They must be in purpose built units off the ground, so you don’t burn the grass. Disposable BBQs are banned and use of these will result in either a fine, or being asked to leave.

Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely. We’re dog-friendly across most of the site. There is a £5 per night, per dog charge. Just follow our canine code of conduct: keep them on leads, clean up after them, and be mindful of others. Please note: Jinnies, Billy’s, Tidswell and Little Lag are dog-free. Please note that Croyde Bay is not dog-friendly during the summer months, but nearby Putsborough and Saunton are.

Do you allow awnings?
Yes as long as they’re windproof, safely secured and fit within your pitch boundaries. If we have any extremes of weather and high winds, we may ask you to remove them temporarily. We ask that you comply with any requests.

What are the pitch sizes?
Each pitch is approx. 10m x 12m. If you go over this, you'll need to book two. Please note: It is 1 live in unit per pitch so this is either 1 family style tent or 1 campervan. For anything more than this, you will require more pitches.

Do you allow campervans?
If you are under 7m it is fine, but please call ahead if you are unsure. Not all pitches are suitable, and the site has a gradual gradient.

Are motorhomes ok?
Depending on size, we might be able to offer you space. Please call ahead and make arrangements before booking. Our pitches are all grass, and we don’t have fully serviced spots.

Do you allow caravans?
Please call ahead
before booking for a caravan as not all pitches are suitable. We have limited pitches that can take caravans.

How many tents can I have per pitch?
One tent or campervan per pitch. This is council restriction, so is not negotiable. If you're unsure or need to discuss a setup, drop us an email. If you do not adhere to these rules, you may be refused entry or asked to leave.

Electric hookups
These are 16amp campervan hook up sockets. You do require 25m length on the cable for some pitches.
Please note that you cannot charge electric vehicles via the pitch hook-up; these are to be done using the dedicated car charging points. Please speak with reception about these.
Please note: Some of the hook up points require some reach. So we advise you have a 25m cable onboard.

Do you allow groups?
We do, but we require further information. So please get in touch to arrange. No more than six people per pitch and only one tent per pitch. We do not accept hen, stag or single sex groups. Quiet hours start at 10:30pm. No late night fires or BBQs! Late-night disruptive noise, will not be tolerated and will result in you being asked to leave.

What’s your noise policy?
